2. Services

Smart Trade Decorators provides professional painting and decorating services. Our services include, but are not limited to:

• Decorative finishes
• Surface preparation
• Minor repairs and maintenance

3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices quoted are subject to:

• Site inspection and confirmation of work scope
• Availability of materials at quoted prices
• Access to the work area as discussed
• No hidden structural or surface issues being discovered

4. Payment Terms

Our payment terms are as follows:

• A deposit may be required before work commences
• Stage payments may be required for larger projects
• Final payment is due upon completion of work
• All payments must be made within 7 days of invoice date

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of work. Cancellations with less notice may incur a fee to cover our costs.

6. Warranty and Guarantees

We provide a 2-year warranty on our workmanship. This warranty covers:

• Paint adhesion issues
• Peeling or flaking of applied finishes
• Wallpaper adhesion

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Normal wear and tear
• Accidental damage
• Water or moisture problems
• Structural movement

7. Insurance and Liability

Smart Trade Decorators maintains comprehensive public liability insurance. We are covered for:

• Accidental damage to property
• Public liability up to £5,000,000
• Professional indemnity insurance

8. Working Hours and Access

Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend work may be arranged by prior agreement. Clients must provide reasonable access to work areas during these hours.

9. Materials

We use high-quality materials from reputable suppliers. Specific materials can be requested but must be agreed upon before work commences. Any client-supplied materials will not be covered under our warranty.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
